CFL Leadership

The Center for Literacy operates under the leadership of a President/ Executive Director who reports to a thirty member Board of Trustees.  A team of 5 directors provide department level expertise as well as general leadership on organizational matters.  The team has a wealth of experience in the delivery of literacy services, nonprofit leadership, and organizational development, and continues to pioneer innovative programs in lifelong learning for adults, families and youth.

The old adage, age is nothing but a number rings true, especially if you are Elvie Hill.  Elvie is 78 years young with the vigor, tenacity, and inquisitiveness others half his age admire and aspire to.  Elvie embodies the ideals of life long learning and came to the Center for Literacy in his retirement because he needed a challenge, pursuing his GED® was the answer.
