6/29/2010 - 2010 Graduation
An auditorium packed with friends, family, and well wishers all cheered loudly for the 41 Center for Literacy (CFL) adult students receiving their high school diplomas last night at Community College of Philadelphia (CCP).
5/6/2010 - The Philadelphia Foundation Grants CFL $30,000
The Center for Literacy has received a $30,000 grant from the Jane Ann Krause Trust Fund of The Philadelphia Foundation to support its general operations.  R. Andrew Swinney, president of the Foundation, whose board managers approved the grant on May 4, 2010, made announcement of the grant.
2/9/2010 - Student SpeakOut 2010
Join CFL for the 22nd annual Student SpeakOut on Monday, April 19 at the Free Library of Philadelphia at 1901 Vine St. at 6 p.m. in the Montgomery Auditorium.  The event is free!  The Student SpeakOut is among CFL’s most anticipated events and features students reading their original writings.
