Adult Literacy Handbook for Students and Tutors

The seventh edition of the Adult Literacy Handbook for Students and Teachers is based on CFL's 38 years of experience in teaching adult students and training volunteer tutors. T

he process of creating this revised edition took nearly three years and involved many contributors.
The Handbook emphasizes collaborative learning, and is rooted in the concept that learning should occur by hearing about, observing, and then engaging activities applicable to the skill to be learned. It covers such key areas as comprehension, fluency, building vocabulary, writing, numeracy, and computer literacy.
